having had premature babies (2 kids both at 32weeks) and my sister also having premature babies (one at 33weeks another at 28weeks) i hate seeing some ladies trying to induce labor when they r barley 35-37 weeks. why not wait til baby is full term which is not til you're 39-40weeks! stop trying to rush it! let baby "cook" as long as he/she can.. the longer the better. i have to go to a highrisk ob doc just to be able to increase my chances of this one coming fullterm, im hoping and praying this baby comes til he's 40weeks (like his sister did) i rather go past my due date then he come super early! some of you ladies dont know how it is leaving your child in the nicu for days /weeks sometimes even months. its hard not being able to go home with baby , unless its a medical reason ,please ladies let your child come when he/she is ready.

my baby girl was born at 39+3 and was still in the nicu but she had medical problems. it's also not safe to keep them in there too long either but I really really hope you can make it full term. honestly the only reason I go full term is bc never have sex only bc I've been single both my pregnancies bc their dad's decided to be jerks but also bc I sit at home all day doing nothing.

@rockysmommy, i also had preeclampsia with my second son, my water broke with my first. im so thankful my daughter made it to the day before her due date and we r trying to keep baby boy in that long as well.
I had preeclampsia that's why I had him at 34 weeks 5 days 😔😔 I wish I could've kept him in longer
I post pictures of my little guy when he was in the nicu too just for shock factor. But it doesn't get through to some of the chicks. They're selfish and don't understand how bad it can be if they try to have their baby before baby is ready

I tend to go off on the people who talk about self induction. It pisses me off.
It is. I cried a lot. I wanted nothing more than to just snatch him out of his bed and take him home. I knew I couldn't because I had no way to tell when he stopped breathing (he had periodic breathing). but we had a rude awakening into parenthood. i don't wish prematurity on anybody!
@mv92, seeing the other babies coming and going hurt because I just wanted my baby to go home too.
@sidanddelos15, its horrible, i saw mamas leaving with baby and i cried and cried cuz i left empty handed, so thankful my boys r great now but still it was such an empty feeling
@rockysmommy, i had to leave my boys each for two weeks. longest two weeks in my life, i cried every time.i left, my sister had to leave her 28wk daughter for 100+days, i can only imagine how hard it was for her. its something that mostly mamas who have been thru it understand. ..
I wish more than anything that I didn't have a nicu baby. it made us stronger of course but having to leave him there for 7 and a half weeks was torture. i have always wondered why they try to bring on labor before it's time. the baby knows when it's time.
I hated leaving Rocky in the nicu he was only there for a week but it was too long :(
amén i know that feeling to mine was a full term too but was born with a birth defect so when I had him I only spent 15 min with him and then he was rush to the children hospital it was the worse feeling ever while I was healing from my c section he was having surgery too 😢😢😢😢😢😢
