how do you know she's ready ? my son is 16 months and I'm ready to start trying but I'm not sure

She tells me when she's going and sits on her potty or tries to get to her potty when she goes

oh OK. I didn't buy him a potty yet but would you recommend me going to get one just so he'll get use to it ?

@jabarismommy, I would but definitely don't push him if he gets upset or doesn't want to. That's what my doctor told me. She told me not to start trying until she started showing signs which is usually around 2.5-3yrs old. But we baby sit an almost 3 yr old 5 days a week and my daughter became obsessed with his potty and she's really taken off since we got her her own. the almost 3 year old still has no interest though.
