Anyone know if Promethazine is safe for me to take while pregnant? My doctor prescribed it but I'm so cautious before I take any type of medicine. Plus I haven't heard the greatest things about him so that doesn't really help.

I had got prescribed some Thursday for vomiting and nausea and it did work it was the after affects that I didn't like. It made me feel like I had the worse hangover ever so after that I haven't took anymore. so yes it works its was the side affects that made me stop taking it

I took it my whole first trimester. And my daughter is growing right on track and healthy.

phenegran is suppose to knock you on your butt and make you sleep, so the nausea will go away

yes its safe ive had to take with all my pregnancies and no issues ! i do try hold off until later in day because it makes me sleepy most of the time when i asked my dr about it he said we figure if your sleep you wont get sick ? ! lol
