it varies for everyone but 3-4 days is around the average. however, your colostrum should be enough to hold baby over until you do get your milk supply in as long as you keep at it. it's all supply and demand. breastfeeding even just colostrum more often can also help it come in earlier.

honestly that's how long it took for me, however I didn't do any pumping or anything, just came in naturally. the doctor did also tell me though that I didn't have enough of a supply to feed my baby anyway so he was glad I stuck with bottle feeding.

Definitely different for everyone. I'm 28 weeks and have lots of milk, which is a healthy sign but again it's different for everyone and it's okay if you don't have milk until the baby's born! You can always try to sort of milk yourself by squeezing your nipple and pulling to see if any comes out. It definitely does for me.

My milk came in around the 3rd or 4th day. I thought it never was going to come in and then all of a sudden my breasts were full lol

@gallyzephie8715, that's not milk that's your colostrum. Actual milk doesn't come in until your placenta has been removed

you don't get milk right away. maybe 3 days after giving birth but you do get what's called colostrum which is great for the baby to:)
