I just got the job at once upon a child a couple weeks ago. I loved it! Yesterday the store owner texted me and fired me cause I was asking for to many hours.. Very professional right? I was barely reaching 23 hours a week and getting $8.00 an hour.. I had to ask for more hours to make a living.. The store owner also didn't like that I was pregnant, there were 2 other pregnant girls I was working with I was the furthest along but 2 of us will be on maternity leave at the same time. & she also hated the fact that I had to work around my doctors apts every 2 weeks.. Even though I gave her all my apts up until the due date. Is it just me or do I feel discriminated against?
