this isn't to bash on my husband but i need to vent and possibly get some advise. im due September 16th and I'm hoping to leave work August 12th as my start to maturity leave. ive saved over 3k in the last 6 months on my own, not a dime of that he has pitched in for. my mother and i have spent over $1,000 for baby stuff & pretty much have everything now except little things like more clothes, breastfeeding accessories and all that. what im worried about is he doesn't have a savings. he's been living pay check to pay check because he recently switched jobs so he was behind in all his bills. he is finally caught up but i don't want to be put in a situation to where he won't be able to pay for my bills when I'm on maturity leave. im really scared. he hasn't bought a single thing for baby Hunter or offered to... nor has he pitched into my savings. i talk to him about it and he always goes "by September I'll be making a lot of money" blah blah blah. he said he would sell his street bike, never did. it's just frustrating. i feel like a single mother already and i basically already am... 😞
