Opinions? I'm not sure if I still want to have a baby shower... Only because my mom has literally bought almost everything off of my registry including furniture and I'm having to depend on my mother in law who was the one to host the party. She said the end of this month, now she says next month. Every month gets put off. 😞

I would tell her if it's too much you don't need to have one because you have almost everything you need

My mil is giving me one and is super organized and ahead on everything even though she has different thoughts on cake decor etc I'm still thankful. My mom on the other hand hasn't seen me preg and really is probably like ur MIL waiting til last min not got her crap together so I have just been keeping my distance anything she says about baby or gift, pic anything I just pretend to always be busy if I was u I would do the same bc it sounds like u and ur mom have it under control as the same for me and my mil. Ur lucky to have a great mom. @katietay34

If you have some close friends or family that might like to get a special binky or cute outfit, I'd say there's nothing wrong with a casual baby shower.
It's also like a little celebration for the new life you'll be bringing into the world - so you could just have some snacks and some fun. 😁 You can get some pretty pictures of the baby bump and your SO, and make a cute memory 😄
