Go to the hospital tell them u feel pressure down there and you're past you due date. The same thing happend to my friend and she was like a week past her due date and I was like that is a little dangerous so I took to the hospital they checked her and induced her there

I'm in the same boat, I just went to my doctor's Wednesday and thought because they check at 39 weeks (and I was 38weeks &5 days) and because that was the last appointment i had scheduled, that I'd be checked but she's making me wait until next Wednesday to be checked even though I have massive pressure, back pain and on and off contractions. I pumped yesterday and today, I've been eating spicy food like crazy, I finished 3/4 of a pineapple to myself, I've had sex like a rabbit, I've tried warm relaxing showers, walking, bouncing on a yoga ball, literally everything and nothing has happened yet.

@emma.rose, exactly! I've been eating a ton of spicy food too. I just don't know if I can make it to Wednesday. I can't even get comfortable enough to sleep. Im having contractions here and there as well. I can't imagine how miserable I'll be by Wednesday:(

yesterday I could barely walk it felt like he was going to fall out and that my hips were breaking or out of place. I asked if I could be checked 2 days early and she said it's against their policy. Oh and the appointment she made me schedule, I don't even get to be checked by her because she was all booked so I have to see one of her colleagues. I really hope I go into labor before Wednesday

Your doctor is one of the good ones. So many doctors feel the need to induce as soon as the due date (or even before). Induction doubles the likelihood of a c-section. Besides more painful contractions, it can cause infection in baby/mama, changes in the babies heart rate, or (in bad cases) uterine rupture. Even though you're feeling like the doctor is just blowing you off, it sounds like they really care. Your best case scenario would be going into labor naturally. Fingers crossed! I hate that, this is the 3rd time I've had to see a different doctor because her schedule is too full -_-
