I haven't stopped moaning today so sorry in advance ladies! I'm not sure if I'm starting to get baby blues ( I also have bi polar so may be a case of this) or what but the last couple of days I feel like I'm not a person if that makes sense? I love Albie more than anything and it's nothing towards him or my OH but I just feel I wake up /feed /change and go to bed. i feel slightly let down by my OH I love him more than ever but I don't want to sound high maintenance but i was expecting a card or flowers (even thought I hate flowers) a or little something to say thank you for carrying his baby for 9 months then giving birth to him I've had nothing I don't want anything extravagant all I was hoping for was some kind of thank you I'm not sure if this is what is getting me down or what I can't stand anyone else other than my little boy even my own family members and friends I don't want to see I just want to stay in my bubble with my boy

Hi Hun. Is this your first baby? Are u on medications for your bipolar? Have u been seeing someone through the pregnancy? I'm hoping some of those answers are yes. You need to be very careful in the post natal period. Bipolar puts u at risk of a puepural psychosis episode which is a very serious episode of bipolar post natally. You should be being monitored for signs of it. All sorts of weird things can go on for you after giving birth. My last baby I had three admissions to hospital within 3 months of giving birth because my disorder was not managed properly. This time im on meds post natally. If u need to talk pm me anytime. I also used to work in a mental health community team

I had same sort of feelings around the same time I had my little girl. I knew I loved her but was thinking I'd made a mistake as all I did was feed, change and go to sleep. I just cried all the time but after a few days and talking it out with my mum (haven't got an OH) I was perfectly fine so hopefully it's just the baby blues Hun xx

don't forget @holliesinead that you've got all these extra hormones that need to go.back to normal now which could be adding to your current mood. xxx

Sounds like baby blues, a week after having both my children I was a total wreck, cried non stop and blamed my oh for everything and anything because I felt he wasent helping like he should, my little one is a month old now and I still have days where I feel really down and cry for no reason but I am seeing the light, I think because there is no routine and everything is a little overwhelming it makes little things seem so much worse. I don't have bipolar or anything so I can't really say anything about that but maybe you need to talk to your doctor or midwife xx

Good advice from @suzie80 I sympathise and admire women who are honest about this sort of thing I've struggled with OCD tendencies no diagnosis but since being preggers it's kicked off xx hope you feel better soon.
