The only thing with having my mom do my baby shower is she wants it to be predominantly pink and gold. I told her I wanted green, pink, and gold. It's like I have to force some of the decor to be green🙄 it's annoying. Don't ask me what I want then still do what you only want. And it's not just the color scheme it's almost every detail of the party.

Luckily my mom was very open to what I wanted and my theme was pretty basic. Blue red and brown and country and farm animal theme. I guess it helped my mom is country anyways so we had no different out views on a single thing now my MIL on the other had added a motor cycle and Elmo and all this other stuff that had nothing to do with my theme but I finally just let her do what she wanted
