they are supposed to give you 30 days. and hospital pictures are more expensive than just getting them done yourself

I do medical billing and coding for a living..they don't like to tell you this but I don't have a problem with it I tell it to everyone because hospitals like to make you stress out..but anyways your insurance will retro back depending on who your covered with bcbs, and Medicaid I know for sure go back 90 days, and if you do pay some on his bills before your insurance kicks in you get that money back once the insurance pays

@trinitysmommy, but I'd still love that hospital picture of him. Something I even had as a kid. I'll never get to go back and take a picture of him that size and age again.

Oh and also if something happens and you have to pay it depending on your financial situation you can ask if they have a charity care program which will reduce or eliminate the bill completely basically if it gets eliminated the hospital just write it off and gets a tax break at end of year...they don't like to tell you these things but it's just some tricks I've picked up over the last 4 years lol
