well I was just gonna ask how old is baby but yeah two month it won't be hard you just gotta stick firm try swaddling the baby my son is 2 months and he sleeps in his bed all night but the first 3 weeks he slept with me but I stopped that cause I knew it would be hard and it was for a min but then he got it so just start him don't give in no.matter how tired u are once he sleep lay him down in that bed

@supermommy31082, I did the mistake around 2 am. Nothin was working. He was fed and changed. He just wouldn't sleep in the bassinet so he ended up with me. Before that he slept in it. I'm just lost

awwwww don't get discouraged it will get better I usually rock my son to sleep and put him in his bed and he stays put now at nap time no he never sleeps in that dam bassinet but I have a pack n play in my room and he sleeps in that at night it has a bassinet part and he will sleep all night I hope something will work for u because that's how my last 2 kids were so I learned with this 3rd one lay his ass down lol

@supermommy31082, he like wants the binky but it keeps falling out so then he'll cry till I put it back in. When I put it in he looks peaceful and asleep. Till it falls out

sweety, my baby is 5 months and 20lbs and does the exact same thing. a baby's weight doesn't determine their sleep schedule. their belly, and whether or not they're tired does. just relax, it almost always gets easier right around 3 months.

@crunchymomma, I sure hope so. I mean it was only the first day of trying this. So hopefully it gets better if I just just keep it up

my daughter always wanted to sleep on my chest or in my bed, during her day time naps I started putting her in her swing. eventually she would go in that swing when she went to sleep for the night, then I'd bring her to bed with me when she woke up for her nightie feedings. then I moved that swing to her room and began putting her in her crib for her daytime naps. when she started taking good naps again she went to bed in her crib. she still sleeps with me halfway through the night but that's only cause its much easier for my to bring her to bed and just lay on my side and nurse her while we both sleep all night.

My daughter still sleeps on my chest but I'm trying to get her to sleep in her bassinet since shes over 12lbs at 10 weeks and still doesn't sleep through the night. Something that surprisingly helps and gets her to sleep in her crib is a rolled up receiving blanket under one of her shoulders. Works like a charm!

@kristinamorandi, really? I'll try that. Like at this point I'll try anything! I'm going to try swaddling him to see if maybe he'll sleep longer. I have a white noise going on all night also.

@samijoy, its super weird! My dad showed me it and it works because it's like they are still in your arms! She used to hate being in her crib too!
