nurse from both sides evenly. my son preferred one side over the other and now it's noticeable

make sure you latch right or you can bruise which will scab and boy does it hurt!!!

keep pumping every 3 to 4 hours.... the more u pump..... more milk production......

DO NOT GIVE UP! It can be very tough and tiring at first, but it is so worth it! If your LO is latching too tight, or if you can't keep your nipple a stimulated, there are nipple shields to help. I had to use them for about a month. Then my LO went through a phase where she didn't want to latch, so I pumped because I didn't want to give her formula. Now she's latching wonderful without the shield, and prefers me over the bottle, but will take both! Always here if you need any advice :)

Drink lots of water, keep eye on caffeine intake as it does cause gas in them, keep snacks on hand you will be hungry a lot, keep taking your prenatals, its exhausting but so worth it, first week or two it is painful till your nipples get used to it so invest in some nipple cream, have a support system at least at the beginning its tempting to give up sometimes just have to remember its the best thing for your baby, your body is literally ment to do this and most of all enjoy it :) thats a bond only you and your child can have together its sweet and precious. I am going on 7.5months EBF and I am still amazed by it. Its a joyous experience one I am thankful to have. If ever in doubt just ask for help. We have all been there.

Oh and ignore the doubters and haters. You will be surprised about who is and who is supportive. I would always get asked when am I putting him on formula or oh ill stop once his teeth come in. Theres also the ones if you plan on breastfeeding after a year how you need to give him a bottle he is to old smh. Just keep going strong and ignore them
