Ask your OB, they may not provide a list but they definitely have their opinions/suggestions. That's how I found mine and I love them!

@joceycx, the best thing would be to ask a friend or family member who has kids where they take them. That's the best way to get a good recommendation. You can also meet with a few once u have a list and see which one u like

@joceycx, I think they can give u a list of some in the area . I'm not sure 100% sure since I've picked mine beforehand. This time my insurance has been asking me for weeks if I have one picked out. They can also give u a list

Yes @joceycx you can't leave without your baby at least being seen by a pediatrician at the hospital, but you can choose whether to continue to use them or find a different doctor.

I have Medicaid. I'm hoping they give my baby Medicaid also @tina4483

@joceycx your baby is always accepted into medicaid if you had it at the time of labor.

@joceycx, that's what I have too. Every state is different. But here they called me every few months or so to check on the pregnancy and see if I had any questions. When I got to 30-32 weeks they started asking me if I had a pediatrician picked out. Since I have Medicaid baby automatically gets it when she's born.
