My baby hasn't poop all day. Is that normal? She's also been crying a lot and seems to be in pain. She'll look like she's pushing and turn red and maybe fart but no poop. It's so sad to watch. What could it be? 😪

I been breastfeeding since she was born and giving her formula since she was born as well. Just lately I been giving her more formula than breast milk. But I'll just wait and see thank you! @maddiesmommy022916
With my little brother he was always constipated and my mom would give him an .5 oz of water....when my son got extremely constipated she told me to try that because he didn't poop for like 2 1// days! I called doctor and asked if it was okay and she said if course won't hurt him at all and it cleaned out his system big time!!! So maybe try that? Also helps formula get use to their stomachs and try gas drops too cuz we use those and they work like a charm
If you were just breastfeeding and just switched to formula recently It may take a while for her to get adjusted to it. My daughter would scream in pain took me and her doctor forever to find a formula that worked. it made me sad i couldn't continue to breastfeed her because I couldn't produce enough due to my health problems.
You're welcome, I hope it helps her! :) it could be that today she's just having a hard time but if it doesn't get better I'd get in contact with her doctor to see if they have any ideas

Oh wow. It's only been today that she's like this. Well yesterday too kind of but she ended up pooping by the end of the night so I can jump to conclusions yet. But it's just sad to watch & especially not knowing if they're bothered or not. If anything I'll just ask her doctor if she doesn't poop by tomorrow. Thank you! @maddiesmommy022916
You can also try putting her legs up to her chest, that has helped my son in the past, but it sounds like a problem with her formula.
my daughter was on several different formulas and they were all making her constipated. She was on breast milk, enfamil newborn, gerber gentlease, enfamil infant and now enfamil reguline which is working well. It helps promote soft stools and help them poop.

My daughter is same way. Her pediatrician finally had me change her formula to enfamil reguline to help her poop and she is now a totally different baby!
Oh she's mostly formula feed now. But still been giving her my breast milk.
