So I went to a genetics appointment today at the hospital ill be giving birth in, thankfully I got told my tests for down syndrome & trisomy 18 came out NEGATIVE thank god 🙌🏼. Now because of the cysts was the reason I got referred to that hospital for advanced tests so today they did more blood test because they wanna see if my baby has an extra chromosome since it only needs to have 2. I agreed to get the blood work instead because I did not want to get a needle for amniotic fluid no way. I know god is with me & my baby was kicking up a party when the lady was telling both baby daddy & I about these things baby knows he's fine & I know to am staying positive for him 🙏🏼

I did my blood work last wk ,still waiting for result s, I'm surprised they want to do amino,s, knowing they are known to cause miscarriage, I 've had 2 healthy pregnancy so I'm not worried , just annoyed a woman at the high risk office I go to would recommend it,

Yeah I just got mine done today & once I heard her say that I automatically said NO to it I was not going to risk it the blood work is the same test so I went with that one I was not having it! @nygirl3rdbabymiami

I decided to get the amnio. There's WAYYYYY too many false positives with the blood work and that causes so much worry. For the amnio my doctor only had a .5% risk of miscarriage and my daughter is now 4 and a pain in my ass lol.
