So when the dr took my temp orally she noticed my tongue ring and said I have to take that out once I get admitted due to if they had to put tubes down my throat if I stopped breathing, it would be in the way and could get lodged down there which is understandable but damn, I'm loosing all my piercings 😒 first my nose, then belly now tongue. At least I could keep my Monroe in cause that's the toughest to get in and out.

You only have to take it out during delivery. You can put it back in right after. And they make pregnancy belly rings.

same here !!! my nose ring closed the other day after having it for months.... both of my belly rings are closed now due too me taking them out when I started getting bigger only piercings I still have is my tongue and ear lol can we get our nose re pierced while pregnant?

how long have u had ur tongue piercing? I've had mine quite a few years and actually have left mine out for over a yr and b fine

a few months ago I had to have surgery and they made me take out my septum piercing.
they ended up losing my jewelry piece and by the time i git released it closed. make sure to give someone you trust your piercing jewelry so it doesn't get lost and you'll be able to put it back in right away 😕

@lost041, I think maybe four years. @crazymommy04 and I did have a Maturnity belly ring for a few weeks but it was blocking my belly button from popping out so it got sore. I'll just get it redone after. @kiaaaaj idk u can get piercings redone while pregnant. Imma just have to wait till after just to be safe and my nose was the worse one ever too 😩

I've had my tongue pierced for 7.5 years. I didn't have to take it out with my first 3. I took it out when I found out I was pregnant this time and can still get the ring in it at 32w2d. You'll be able to easily get it back in after baby is born

The u will b fine without it for a Lil while. I wouldn't leave it out for more then a couple days but ull b fine. and like @jc2015 said make sure u give ur piercings to someone u trust. The hospital will usually give u a container to put it in but have someone u know hold onto it. I've seen to many ppl lose piercings at the hospital

Why nose ring? @hannahbbtt ..my belly ring still hasn't closed its been like 3-4 years

@hlanc4, I use to take it out every night before bed then put it back in the morning but lost the stud and never got a new one
