Went from a 528 to a 677 credit score! I'm so happy 😊 Thought I would never get here. Married with a beautiful baby girl on the way. I have so much to be thankful for. Life is so good. Now just to get into a veterinary career so I can leave preschool and teaching and pursue my true passion

I opened a Capital One Journey card. They start you off at a low limit so that you don't go overboard and report to credit bureaus every time you make a payment. They raise your limit every few months when they see you are consistent on your payments. My husband also added me onto his card to reflect on my credit as well. I love shopping, so I only put things like gas and coffee on it. I pay a little above the minimum payment because apparently if you pay it in full it can bring down your score. I highly recommend Capital One. Their customer service has been amazing and they help your credit score majorly. I hear really good things from other cardholders also @mrsbutler

Me and my husband used Chase. No interest for the first full year. We bought everything with it (Like groceries, gas, etc. as if it was our debit card) and then paid it off fully when the bill came. So no debt and our credit score jumped significantly within the past year.
