my son started a schedule at one month old. atleast at night. he got a bottle at 8 then a bath at 830 and then bottle followed by bed right after. and now at 9 months old he eats food at 810/820 then play time until about 845/9 and then he gets a bath and i let him play for about 15 minutes in the bath and then a bottle/tv and then bed
From day 1 he was on a schedule eating every 4 hours. Until I started to have to wake him up for his night time feeding around 4am. Then I realized that was stupid so I just let him sleep. I was aways told to never wake a sleeping baby. Ever since I stopped he's never had a problem sleeping through the night. He's been sleeping through the night since 5 weeks old and he's 8 months now.
My sons 2 months and isn't on any type of schedule. He's always hungry so I can't really put him on a feeding schedule I feel like. And we do have some nights where he'll sleep till like 8-830 then get a bath then bottle then back to sleep around 10. But that's not every night. And he doesn't exactly nap during the day. He'll do little cat naps then wake up and cry. Might be cause he's colic. Also, what do you guys think about giving alittle bit of the rice cereal before bed at this age so he's full for the night? I have multiple people telling me it's okay but I need other moms opinions...@jaxsonsmomma @sarinal0l
I don't know if the rice cereal will keep him full so that he'll sleep longer. I only used it because he spit up like crazy all the time. I only ever put a TBS in at a time and it seemed to do the trick. I hope things get better for you.
@sarinal0l, yea he spits up alittle but too. Sometimes more. @jaxsonsmomma and yea I might just try it. I feel like most of the time why he's crying is because he's so tired and he just won't go to bed. He refuses to take naps
