They don't need to. The baby will weigh however much it's gonna weigh. We dont really need to know unless there's a concern. Also,most experienced doctors can guestimate buy palpating your belly

I've had 3 regular ultrasounds, anatomy scan, and a growth ultrasound for measurement & weight(had that done this past Monday). my doc told me i have another growth ultrasound scheduled in 4 weeks when i hit 32 weeks and i believe i may have one more after that! im not high risk at all... so every doctor is different...

With my first two pregnancies I had ultrasounds all the time, but this time around my doctor told me they only do one each trimester, so you should at least get 3.

I've only had one with my OB, and that was the gender one. I had gotten one at a free clinic when I first found out. And one at the hospital cause I had pain. I get my next one Tuesday. And so far every ultrasound that I've gotten has been vaginal I believe. And my next one is vaginal too. Idk why though.
