I believe they can. I worked as a real estate administrative assistant and that was actually really common idk if they have to have the tenants permission first as a curtesy but I do know the tenants can be there while the house is being shown as well

@cupcake231, really that pisses me off. I wonder does it depend on the state. That should be against the law invasion of privacy or something it just seems so wrong to me.

@mommyto3girls1boy, I hope not because I'm going to tell his ass NO! We leave in 2 weeks he is just being petty!

It should be in your lease stating that they are able to, otherwise no. At least that's how it was in Kansas. My landlord broke our lease by showing our apartment before we had moved out, despite me disagreeing to it. I did NOT feel safe with her doing that, plus it was a total invasion of privacy IMO. Hopefully you can get yours to back off. I totally know how it feels.

Yeah I feel u but I'm really not sure about the process u possibly can call a real estate agent and ask them what are the policies and procedures or call a free advice law firm @desi720

@evococa, yes he is being so petty mad we are moving out because he never fixes anything and a washer or dryer hook up that he promised and never did. I'm having a baby need access to a washer that we have sitting in the basement for nothing. And so much other things the list goes on. Despite that we've always paid our rent on time and I think he'd been taking advantage of us. Now that we are moving he wants to be an asshole and show our place this weekend. Our lease is up and we never signed a new one😠

Ugh I'm sorry. Sounds like my old landlord. Just being petty and doing it just to be a dick. Funnily enough, I was pregnant when we were moving out then too lol. So awkward knowing that they're gonna drag strangers through your place... The first time I was there and had no clue she was doing it. 😡 should NOT be legal if you ask me.
