Does anyone else have problems with formula constipating their baby? im thinking about stopping my muscle relaxers so that i can breastfeed again because my little man is having a hard time with this formula...and we've tried 3 diff types!

Did you leave it for a count of 10? And do it a few times? Poor thing, I know how you feel because my daughter was suffering too. Let me know if the juice works, I'll be doing it if it does
@bianca_rose, i tried a qtip that didn't even work and he just looks so miserable...hopefully the prune juice works
I breastfeed but had to start supplementing because she was losing weight and had the same problem. She went 5 days without pooping, I had to keep putting a rectal thermometer in her to get her to go, it's horrible
@sidanddelos15, yes she switched his formula again but there is no change and when i called the after hours they told me to give him 1oz of prune juice and water but i dont want to have to keep doin that
@sidanddelos15, but i actually hurts my son to poop...he cries and strains for 20-30 mins at a time
My son would poop like once every 2 to 3 days. the doctor said as long as he poops at least 2 times a week and has enough wet diapers, everything is okay.
