So my son is a week old today and his dad finally asked about him yesterday.... I understand that he's on deployment and what not but there's no way in hell I would go almost a week without asking about my child. 🙄🙄🙄😑😑😑

I meant to say this last night. I wasn’t pregnant yet when my husband went on deployment in 2014 to Sept 2015. But I will say this. When you are deployed, they train you to leave home at home. Focusing too much on it will cause a distraction that could cost you the mission or even death for your comrades. I was sexually assaulted in June while he was gone by the realtor who sold us our house the year before. It took all I had to tell him what was going on because I didn’t want him to worry. Up until that point, he never asked about his 7 year old daughter, his dogs, nothing. Just generic conversation.. the house, the bills, and work. I started therapy and his boss came and checked on me with some other soldiers. He asked if I wanted him to come home early. I said no. He finished his mission and came home in Sept as planned and by then I was okay. I’m all that to say this.. As prior military myself, I can tell you…If he asks at all, be happy and appreciative because in all honesty, we are trained not to think about home… Be strong. Be a mother to your child. Don’t get in your feelings about him not asking about the baby. You do you.

Girl dealing with these military men is hard work!!!! I just cursed mine out Bc we live in va n he is spending money on storage in Florida just Bc his family is using it. 70 dollars every month!!! He gets me sooooo angry!!!! We are expecting a child n he can't seem to get his act together financially. Oh well then that's messed up, I'd be pissed too! I didn't know if there were certain times with the navy if they didn't have internet access.. My SO was in the Army.
@beccalynnn, he's on a ship. They have internet access. He can talk to everyone else except making sure his son is ok or even if he made it into this world safe and healthy
Has he had communication access in the past week? I know when my SO was deployed he'd go out on missions and I wouldn't be able to talk to him for weeks

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
