I meant to say this last night. I wasn’t pregnant yet when my husband went on deployment in 2014 to Sept 2015. But I will say this. When you are deployed, they train you to leave home at home. Focusing too much on it will cause a distraction that could cost you the mission or even death for your comrades. I was sexually assaulted in June while he was gone by the realtor who sold us our house the year before. It took all I had to tell him what was going on because I didn’t want him to worry. Up until that point, he never asked about his 7 year old daughter, his dogs, nothing. Just generic conversation.. the house, the bills, and work. I started therapy and his boss came and checked on me with some other soldiers. He asked if I wanted him to come home early. I said no. He finished his mission and came home in Sept as planned and by then I was okay. I’m all that to say this.. As prior military myself, I can tell you…If he asks at all, be happy and appreciative because in all honesty, we are trained not to think about home… Be strong. Be a mother to your child. Don’t get in your feelings about him not asking about the baby. You do you.

Girl dealing with these military men is hard work!!!! I just cursed mine out Bc we live in va n he is spending money on storage in Florida just Bc his family is using it. 70 dollars every month!!! He gets me sooooo angry!!!! We are expecting a child n he can't seem to get his act together financially. He insists of taking care of his relatives instead of thinking about his family 😡😡😡😡 @kimberlynnn

Oh well then that's messed up, I'd be pissed too! I didn't know if there were certain times with the navy if they didn't have internet access.. My SO was in the Army.

@beccalynnn, he's on a ship. They have internet access. He can talk to everyone else except making sure his son is ok or even if he made it into this world safe and healthy
