My old midwife told me if I had another baby, it'll be easier since there already is a trail for the baby to come? Lol is that true?

it's proven true for me. my first was a 39.5 hour labor. it was miserable. 
my second labor was about 6 hrs start to finish. 
hope my 3rd is way quicker!

From what I understand each labor tends to be shorter than the one before it because of muscle memory. Your body knows what it's doing and remembers! But I'm sure it's more complicated than that as well!
