my doctor recommended it as well but I'm nervous to try it out. I've heard a few accounts of it breaking in the arm and the irregular bleeding. I was on the mini pill before I got pregnant again and it was horrible and I don't want a repeat of that /:

I hated it. I had it break in my arm and had to have it removed in an out patient procedure. I suffered infertility for 3 years following the removal (which they say was due to the amount of hormones being released into my body) I wouldn't get another one.

I had it for two horrible years. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾😩😩😩 I bled for weeks at a time and when I wasn't on my period it was only a few days of no bleeding then BAM bleeding again.

I had it for about two years. never had any issues. they put it in my left arm and the most that happened was swelling for about 3 days. After a week or two i had spotting and then that went away. i didnt have a period for two years after that. i got period like symptoms but never any blood. AND ..it worked lol. i decided to take it out to see my chances to have a baby and now im pregnant with no issues so i loved it lol.

there is so much that can go wrong with that. and I know many girls who have had to be put under for surgery to get it out because it breaks off into pieces and gets lost in your skin. my doctor brought it up but I ain't getting it. I'm gonna get the patch

I had a bad experience with it but that is because my body was rejecting it

It was recommended to me by my dr so I'm curious too.
