Could be a bad case of Braxton hicks or false labour but I wouldn't like to say. They need to check nothing is going on with your cervix. If nothing is changing and your nice and thick still I'd say rest up. I've had this but still carried to term

I had regular strong contractions last week for 3 hours I took a bath and went to bed and they stopped I was only 19 w. But my last two babies from about 32/33 weeks I've had regular episodes of contractions then they go and then start again. They can do the fetal fibronectin test (sp) it can tell them if your likely to go into labour in the next two weeks or not.

I'd go back to the hospital Hun xx

thankyou for the advice i will ring them and go back in , im worried also because my mother had me early aswell , they told me the other day theres a chance it could happen to me but they changed doctors /nurses so many times they didnt check my cervix like they was supposed to xx @emmaelaine @suzie80
