It's been tough for me with my boyfriends daughters here, and I get 0 of his time, love or affection. It all goes toward his daughters. And I can't barely show him any either cause I don't get a chance!! I try the little I can but he doesn't at all. And I'm just suppose to be ok with it. And I guess my only choice is suck it up for another 5 weeks or leave. And I love him way to much to just leave so I just have to deal. 😩 I don't think it's right i think he should act differently but oh well. I deserve a effing ring after this summer!! 😛🙃😉💋💍

Have you tried talking to him. Being a stepmom, you have to learn and understand they your so's children come first.

he maybe doesn't show affection so it's not weird to the child she probably has never seen her daddy kiss or hug another women that's not her mother I used to have this problem

Oh I totally understand that! And that's why I haven't said anything to him about it. But I just think he could still show me a little love too. But his daughters fight each other for his attention so I guess i know it's hard for him too. Sometimes I just feel unwanted or does he really want to be with me? Does he still love me... Ya know and that's hard to deal with especially with my pregnant hormones.@bry142

I hug him sometimes. Or on the rare occasion I get, hold his hand. So I don't know what they think? Both his daughters were young when he split up with his ex wife like one was about 1 the other 2 or 3. So I doubt they remember. And he told me that he dated someone for 3 years after her! So his girls had to of met her. Idk if he was the same toward her or not she has never been talked about just a tad when we first started dating. His parents don't ever even mention her, just the ex wife (there mom) @naty199613

lol youd be surprised what they remember.... mine is 3 and her dad left us when she was 11 months old we got back a little before she turned and he was going to work one day and she busted out in tears saying please don't abandon us again. ...... you can never truly know what goes on in a child's mind @missjess

I guess that's true, it's been like 5 years though. And they had an ugly breaking up/divorce. Plus she moved them back to TX with her as soon as they split. @naty199613
