I am moving to Sweden! I read that they offer a 16 month PAID maternity leave off. I wish the United States offered that.

@phinnybinz, I tried looking up Canada and all I keep seeing is 15 PAID weeks. Its still better than ours which doesnt even require a company to pay you.

@kenitra, Its crazy...some jobs dont even offer for paid 12 weeks here. I wouldnt be stressed about starting a family and saving all my time now. I should have moved and started a career over there. Smh

It's 480 Days Per Child. To be used by both parents how and when they choose. With at least 80% of your salary during that time. It's nuts! I used to live in Stockholm and have lots of friends there with families.
