I'm not sure actually. I wasn't bleeding when I went into labor the first time I actually had no idea I was in labor but I was contracting ever minute. They'll probably connect you to a monitor to see if your contracting and how much you are and it will also monitor the babies heart beat. If you are contracting they'll either give you a shot to stop labor or put you on magnesium sulfate (which totally sucks but it's effective) if that stops the labor they'll eventually send you home if everything looks okay and you'll be on bed rest until the end of your pregnancy or closer to full term anyway. You'll get two steroid shots to mature the babies lungs. After all that I was put on proestrogen to keep me from contracting more. I ends up going into labor 6 weeks later though and the shot to stop labor didn't work.
Okay 😊 let me know what happens! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to stay pregnant a little longer. And if you need support or just need to vent etc I'm a message away and there's a lot of other really amazing preemie moms on here that I'm sure would be willing to help out too
If you're getting the bloody show that means your cervix is making changes 😱 you might want to go to l&d since you're only 34 weeks and see if they can stop your labor (if that's indeed what it is) and give you steroid shots for the lungs just in case. Also don't stress out about it. My son was born at 35 weeks and he's doing amazingly now. 💜 good luck!
