I heard that shower etiquette would be to not have another shower unless it was like 6 years after your first. But, I don't think anyone follows that. If you're worried, call it a sprinkle instead of a shower. I'm planning on not telling anyone the gender so I get all gender neutral stuff at my shower

I think most people have 2 showers if the gender is different.
