when I go for my anatomy scan next week what should I look forward to? I know they are going to do the gender(even though I already know☺) and see how big he is, but what else? And is there any questions I should ask? like did you have a question and wished you would've asked it?

Be prepared to be there from anywhere between 30mins to 1hr. They will be measuring and looking at everything (brain, spine, heart, stomach, legs, hands, kidneys, liver, counting fingers and toes, etc just to make sure everything is in place and working properly. How long it takes depends on position of baby and how well baby cooperates. Good luck! @candacejade

They also check the placenta and umbilical cord. I had lots of questions because I was told she had a single umbilical artery rather than the 2 which they're suppose to have.

Mine didn't take very long but, I wish I would've asked the babies position, the position of the placenta, and how much she weighed. I was so shocked when they told me the gender that I forgot all my questions and they just smiled and said everything looks prefect which is great! but, that didn't tell me in detail what I wanted to know haha

Mine took awhile before they even told me the sex. They check EVERYTHING make sure the heart look perfect, toes, fingers, organs, ur lady parts(inside).
