Hope he's ok. 🙏🏻 About 6 weeks ago I thought I had a brilliant idea (out of impulse and impatience for little one to get here) to get a puppy that was just shy of 7 weeks. He was a rescue. I don't even know what sleep is anymore. Good practice-hmmm maybe Super Lack of sleep-most definitely. Not to mention I was on sleep meds before getting pregnant...not the smartest thing I've done.

@lindsey89, if you need any puppy advise I have been through it all. separation anxiety, chewing, sleep patterns, training, all of it. I know almost every training method out there. we rescued dez about 2 years ago and went through a lot with him.

Thank you @fruitloop13 the next month we have to get him away from sleeping with us. I'm due in 11 weeks give or take. He has severe separation anxiety. I can not even get off the bed or go in the bathroom or shower without him full blown "where'd she go" it's been a tough few weeks. It's also caused a lot of relationship issues.

honestly you both have to really be on board to get through something like this. have you tried crating him? if he's still young he might be comforted by having his own space. my dog didn't do well with it but I don't mind him sleeping with me. plus the first week or so of crate training there will be a lot of crying and im sure you'd rather pass that part before baby comes.

@lindsey89, if you use a crate it will help contain puppy messes and give him his own private space. just don't ever put him in as a punishment. it needs to be a happy place he goes on routine when it's time to sleep.

We have one but he will literally whine bark cry whimper for hours. Like this morning I was up between 1-3pm with him. I need my sleep too. It's been hard.

try giving him a bone while he's in there. he's probably bored.
