I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension today when I took a trip to the hospital, its been about 8 to 9 hours, should I call the doctor on call to tell them that my blood pressure has been high sense and hasnt gone down?
Im not used to my blood pressure being high like this and dont know if it should be like this continuisly.

When in doubt, call the dr. I ended up on bed rest the last 3 or 4 weeks because my BP sky rocketed and I gained like 12lbs of pure water weight in like a week. Baby was totally fine, but I was miserable and puffy.

I'm being monitored for the same thing, doc told me to call if the top number goes over 160 or bottom is over 100. Also if there is any pain in my upper abdomen, and if I'm dizzy nauseous or have a severe headache. But if your worried it never hurts to call!
