I remember seeing a woman a long time ago saying "My man asked if he could tell me something and I said yeah and he said I love our daughter more than I love you. and it made me so happy and I told him good. I love my man"
I don't understand that personally.. of course I want Joseph to love our son just as much or more than he loves me.. but I'm not dying for him to come tell me he loves our son more than me.. he loves us both a lot. is that wrong of me? I just didn't understand why it make someone so happy to be told they are loved less.. maybe I just don't understand until he gets here.

No way, I agree. I've been taught that in a family, the relationship between husband and wife is supposed to come before the relationship between parent and child! This doesn't mean neglect your child or love them less of course, but the relationship between mom and dad is the most important! It's a Biblical stance.

They've done studies that it's better for the children's upbringing if the mom and dad have more love for each other because it teaches healthy relationships and a more peaceful living environment

That is weird to me. The love I have for my husband is a different love than the love I have for my son. The two of them are my world. And it would hurt my heart to hear my husband say he loves something more than me. I know he loves our son just as much/more than me in a different kind of way, but I am his wife and that love is completely different.
