I still don't even know how much my baby weighs I haven't had an ultrasound since I was 21 weeks is that normal my doctor doesn't tell me what is going to happen at my next appointment or anything do I never know if my baby is ok. they don't even tell me about any blood work I have down only thing they have told me about was my glucose test it's starting to upset me seeing all you other mommies-to be knowing how much your baby weighs or even what they look like

I had one at 18 weeks and didn't have another until 36 weeks. No need unless there's complications or something.

well I'm considered high risk by other doctors and as well by my medical and family history but my obgyn doesn't think so or won't even consider me high risk @shananaginsx

My doctor only does 2 sonograms, one to say your actually pregnant and the anatomy scan. And she said whenever I get blood work, no news is good news

I only got one US with my daughter (wrestled with Medicaid for months and first dr appt was at 20+ weeks) and i gave birth the day I was 36 weeks so I can't even tell you if there's another one towards the end. But I would think so. That way they can determine if it's okay for baby to stay inside or if they feel the need to induce or have a c section. Also, I was never told of any results of any tests besides glucose unless it was bad. I was anemic with first, and I reminded them this time around so they let me know they tested for it but I did just fine and I have nothing to worry about.
