When should you put the car seat and base in the car??

I'm 37x 4 today n I put mine in about two weeks ago

Car seat should wait until you leave for the hospital the base can go in whenever you want. I put the base in my car when I was 36wks and the car seat stayed in the house until the night I went into labor

i had my husband put mine in the night before i got discharged from the hospital, but i live 5 mins from the hospital

I'm 38 weeks and 2 days and I just put it in a few mins ago. taking it Wed to the police dept for free inspection to make sure it's in there correct

We didn't put it in until the day I was discharged.
