#mombassadorchat Moms, Today's #mombassadorchat is with @believeinbuddha on crafting!! Here's her bio: Hi there! I'm the Buddhist Mama. I am 27 years old and from central California. I have four children; Ava, Ella, Zeus, and Harley Quinn. I am no stranger to struggle and have seen my share of ups and downs in life. No matter what the universe throws at me I like to stay positive and take everything as a lesson to be learned and wisdom to be gained. I like to focus on what truly matters in life, like the small stuff; feeling a sense of accomplishment and pride. One way I help to build these feelings up in myself is by crafting. Pinterest is my life! I get so much joy every day from just being inspired and I try to spread that joy in every way that I can. I love my ability to utilize this community of you wonderful moms. Mom Life is an incredible blessing for me which I am so thankful for. We are all here to support one another and share our stories, strength, and hope. I look forward to getting to know everyone and helping this app grow! Tips I have for crafting: 1. Use what you already have. Look around your house; you can craft with anything from old curtains to clothes, broken jewelry or scrap wood. Go outside! You can use rocks, cardboard, and recyclables for various projects as well. 2. Find ideas on Pinterest. I get all of my ideas from here! 3. Check out budget stores. Dollar tree, 99 cent store, Dollar General and thrift shops are always rotating their inventory to bring in new products. You will be surprised what you can find! 4. Invest in a glue gun. A good glue gun will run you about $7.50 and a large pack of glue sticks is $10 for 100 sticks. This will come in handy, trust me. It expands your ability to craft! A large pack of sticks lasts me months so its perfect for moms on a budget. 5. Coupon. If you go to the craft stores make sure you bring all the coupons you can find. The store sites usually have a few posted and if you sign up for their email news letter they send you extra ones too. You can use all the coupons you find because at most craft stores there's no limit. But always check your local Wal-Mart first! I have found that paint and felt for example is less than half the price there. Ask @believeinbuddha a question by tagging her in the comments! 🌟A huge thanks to @believeinbuddha for hosting this chat!!🌟 Let's get chatting! 🍁mom.life_usa🍂
Hi Preggies, We've had some requests from moms who are going through difficult emotional times, before, during and after pregnancy. Some of you may be feeling alone, sad and anxious in an already challenging time. Some members would like to create a group where they can support each other and stay positive when it seems nearly impossible. Anyone interested in joining this group would comment here and then follow those women. Then you can look out for each other and send positive words of encouragement or just lend an open ear. One or two of you could also lead the group as well. Also, if anyone has a counseling background or would like to help out, please join, too. However, if you are feeling completely desperate and have nobody to turn to, please call 911 or another local hotline for help. Best, Preggie_USA
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
