I was following a post earlier about smoking weed while pregnant, and when I was about 15 weeks, someone I obviously shouldn't have trusted gave me an edible without telling me what it was. They didn't know I was pregnant, but they knew I didn't smoke because it gives me anxiety and causes my heart rate to get very high (160-180 when resting) to the point where it's considered Tachycardia. I had to go to the hospital because I had no idea what was going on, and that's when they diagnosed me with Tachycardia and they said baby was fine and shouldn't test positive since it was so early on in my pregnancy. But someone on the post earlier said they can test their meconium for anything and that it would test positive for THC. Has anyone had experience with this? It has me incredibly worried now and even more mad at that person than I was months ago.

Honestly im not saying smoke to anyone but with my first i did slip up at about 30 weeks and hit a blunt 3 times to finally get some sleep even if my babys poop had tested positive they wouldnt have took him.. i put money that there are mamas on here who full on smoke while pregnant and gave birth and has had no one even bring it up. My Dr. Told me they DO NOT take babies away for marijuana they do search for Crack , Meth & Prescription Pills Etc. I Was Honest and told her i smoked that time. Don't Stress You Were Very Early.

I work at the hospital and deal with these type of cases all the time, you're fine. Don't get all worked up about it, trust me you're too early for any detection. She was probably trying to scare u or she's just an idiot.
