So when I had my son I had a epidural 5 years ago but I still felt the pain in my (vagina) a really burning pain so I closed my legs and the whole midwife and Dr's on the floor had to come in and pull my child out 😱..... maybe they didn't give me enough epidural... I'm scared it may happen again... who else felt the ring of fire when giving birth with epidural or pain relief????

I've felt every last bit of the labour every time. I knew when to push both with failed epidural a and good block. And yes I had ring of fire too. I yelped as they pulled the baby out last two times. The ideal epidural is one where u can feel the urge to push etc at the end. Every epidural I had has been different

It's worse without the epidural or a completely failed one it tends to not be as intense the more u have

I had a spinal...had forceps..was cut and didn't feel a thing 0.o Maybe it doesnt work on you hun..doesn't work for everyone xxx

@winterbaby95, I think they just lowered my dosage because I didn't feel nothing till the burning sensation so maybe I'll tell them so they can plan on giving me more
