my friend got a big , nice leg piece while she breastfed . so id say its fine . i plan on it shortly after hes born . my fiancé and i are getting one done for our son . as long as youre not getting a basement tattoo i dont see the harm 😂

The la leche league says to wait a year because of infection. If for some reason you got one, you could pass it to the baby.

yes it's totally safe (hubby and a really good friend are both tattoo artists) I asked my midwife after my oldest was born she said as long as you avoid getting a chest tattoos you're totally fine cause it doesn't get into your breast milk

I got mine when he was like 8 months old. didn't effect anything. I was still breastfeeding.
