any mom's breast feed the first two months and then switch baby to bottles? how many ounces did baby take? how did you get baby to not fight taking the bottle?

Dr told me my baby would take 4-5oz but she takes a max of 3. I also think most of the time she's reverse cycling. we've just started this process so I can go back to work and I have so many questions! I'd love to hear other mom's experiences!!!

Well with my daughter it's a little different because she had acid reflux which in turn made her very colicky at the same time. But it didn't take her very long to stop fighting me on the bottle. It took a couple days for her to get used to it. But since your also breastfeeding still I would let her have the boob at bedtime and bottle during the day. It'll get her used to when she will have the bottle and the boob. She will get used to it and figure out the difference pretty quickly.

the nuk bottles are the only ones she'll take but she still throws a fit because she wants the boob. I've been pumping but I don't think that'll work much longer. @andiryan93 after finding the right bottle did she still fight you? how did you deal?

It was hard at first but I had to find a bottle that worked with her. It ended up being dr Browns bottles. It's a trial and error thing. Some babies just prefer certain nipples when it comes to bottles.

I had to switch my daughter form breastfeeding to formula at 2 months old due to her having health issues. I started her at 4 ounces per feeding and than went from there.
