I would :( I have more of a connection with my OB. I see her everytime I go except once because they do want you to meet the other doctors in case they aren't able to make the birth which she assured me is VERY unlikely. I think It's really important to feel comfortable and confident with the person delivering your child!

I started out with an ob but she had to leave for a few months so I switched to a midwife, I've already paid quite a bit of money to my midwife but I think you're right, I don't feel comfortable with her at all 💔 @1sttimemummy

@mamabear9456, That's such a bummer but, I think it's better to be comfortable in such a special and important time. I wanted a midwife and to have a water birth in a birthing center but, my ob only delivers at hospitals and I just do not want to sacrifice having such an amazing doctor for the birthing center experience. They are really flexible at the hospital I chose as well when it comes to birthing positions but, I can't birth in the tub :/

That's unfournant I'm sorry I have a midwife and loved it. I have an ob now and I love her I've seen her everything except 1, she also delivers 90% of her own babies. Which I think is great. I would talk to my midwife about it. It may be too late to switch.

You can tell them you don't want to see the student midwives

Find someone else if you aren't comfortable with them. Seriously it's never too late

Oh that stinks...I did midwives for both of my kids and loved them, it was the same practice and there's 2 of them so I saw both and could've had either deliver depending on who was on call day of delivery but I was very comfortable with both. You may be too far along to switch practices so if you're going to I'd try asap

Yeah I'd find someone else. You have to be comfortable with the person you see. If you don't trust them during your appointments you won't trust them when you're giving birth.
