This day is for fathers. I was raised by a single mother who went above and beyond for me. Yet she never claimed this day for herself. At the end of the day I feel a mom can't do everything a father can. I grew up always feeling like I missed something cause my dad wasn't around. There's many things he could've taught me that my mother can't. I really don't wanna discredit any single mom out there. You guys deserve appreciation. But us mothers had our day last month. We should take this day and celebrate, honor, and appreciate all the great dads, granddads and father figures in our lives. You never hear a single father say " say happy Mother's Day to me" and I sure know many single fathers. Let's not stir away from today's real purpose. And I don't expect everyone to agree with Me. I don't wanna have a debate about it either. These are my feelings and if you disagree it's okay just keep scrolling.
