May be a silly question. Did u ladies buy ur own baby book and take to shower or did u register for one and hope u get it before and if so did u use one book for multiple showers. I'm having 2 have never even looked at baby book but remember for bridal shower it had place for multiple showers. Not sure what the norm is? Thanks

@cubanese, yea I was meaning the books that have usually the first year about baby and have a place to list guest and shower details and list of gifts to make thank u notes easier. When I got married mine had a place for my bridal shower invite, gift list, sign in, family tree all kinds of stuff and I enjoyed filling it out bc years later I will forget the details I'm sure. I just didn't know I have only looked at them online but didn't know if people bought them their self or what? My grandma bought my bridal book as soon as I got engaged and gave it to me early. But yes I agree pics r great too

@txyogagirl, I bought a baby book at like 8 weeks to just track the pregnancy and ultrasound pics and pics of me during the months..I am having a big party instead of a traditional baby shower so I'm not opening gifts in front of people. I would just buy exactly what I want if I was you though! I'm picky.

@kenitra, I love ur party idea and we wanted to do that but unfortunately my family is old school and insisted on throwing me a traditional shower. I got a pregnancy calendar gift the week after I told everyone so I have tracked my pregnancy that way. As far as the book I'm not to picky bc already have the calendar I guess I just wait and see between now and shower day. @cubanese good for u to be prepared. I will do same before my shower I assume.
