I don't think I'm producing enough milk for baby girl. 😔.
I had to go help my brother today so I let my mom watch her because she was asleep and I thought I would make it back before she woke up, well I didn't so she gave her maybe an ounce of formula because she was throwing a fit. After she drank that little bit of formula she went to sleep and slept for hours!!

I just made the decision to supplement and I'll probably just do full formula, but my son seems much happier with it. my mom thought maybe cause I wasn't eating barely and what I was eating wasn't really nutritious then maybe he wasn't getting full from my milk.

I'm always eating an stuff but I just don't think I'm producing enough. She has even lost two more ounces but her pediatrician didn't seem concerned and never said for me to do anything. He said she looked great but when she drinks the formula it's like she rest so much better and actually gets full. @madibug96

Yea that's what I was getting at. if what we're eating isn't decently nutritious it may not be filling to baby. try supplementing and see what happens. remember that they've already gotten the most important part, colustrum.

You can't go by that, breastmilk is lighter in their stomachs, it's digested easier and faster, that's why they nurse so often.
