My friend is 30weeks and her baby has a kidney infection/disease. They told her there a possibility that the baby will die before she's born or need surgery right after birth. I really hope the baby makes it. That news hurt my heart, idk what I would do or feel of I was in that position.

My first son was diagnosed with bilateral hydronephrosis (fluid retention in both kidneys which can cause the kidneys to burst) and I was told they would have to operate on him before he was born, which could kill both of us! Needless to say I cried my eyes out for days and weeks! Long story short, he'll be 7 in September and is well! After he was born there were a few surgeries but please tell your friend to get a second opinion! I'll pray for her and her unborn and please keep us posted!
