The epidural isn't bad at all. It hurts a lot less than giving birth without one haha. Remember, you are allowed to have a say in what happens during labor. If you're really that nervous about the pitocin then ask if they can hold off for a while to see if your body can do the job without it.

Im nervous but Im ready to have her cause ive been at the hospital for almost 2 days having them dilate me but hopefully when I have bad contractions I won't worry about the epidural anymore

I agree with @brittbilson. the epidural did not hurt at all even with the pitocin. and after I had it in didn't even feel my contractions. I was in the hospital for 3 days with back labor. they started me off on a morphine drip and then I got the epi.
