To those of you who have had a threatened miscarriage and lost the baby, did you know when you lost…

are you talking about when you started bleeding and everything came out or when the baby actually passed away?

i had no clue... my baby stopped growing at almost 9 weeks and i didn't know till i was about 12 weeks for my sonogram and i didn't start bleeding until i would've been like 15 weeks... it was hard having a baby inside of you but it wasn't growing.

I suffered a miscarriage may 30 I had no bleeding no cramping no signs the bby was dead I just got an ultrasound and was told the bby had no heart beat 😞

I never bled with my one miscarriage that lasted 9w5days. We didn't find out till our 12 weeks appt... but I told my best friend the day I turned 10 weeks that I knew something was wrong I just had a feeling. It was a really weird feeling like I just knew something had happened to the baby! And when we went to our 12 week appt I knew my OB was going to tell us bad news but I didn't have any signs of a MC besides maybe a mild backache. my boobs still hurt and I was moody and everything! but with my other MCs I just started bleeding and that was it

i was bleeding for a few days and then all of a sudden this big nasty thing fell out i believe it was the sac the baby was in. that's how you know when your body miscarriage properly. my second miscarriage i just kept having really bad pains (they said it was contractions) and i had to go to the hospital and have surgery.

everything comes out, it'll look like a giant blood clot depending on how far along you are then sometimes you'll actually see it. You know wham it happens if you're far enough. With all of mine I passed several clots

the only way you won't know is if the heart stops beating and you don't bleed.

my MCs were like normal periods with lots more tissue. When I MC a little further along the doctor did a d&c cause my body was passing it and I bled like crazy from that too just not really any clots.

On the 16th, i woke up bleeding. it wasn't much at all. there wasn't enough to fill a pad. There was bleeding behind the placenta. The baby was still alive and very active. I'm 11 weeks now. I don't feel different at all. I honestly feel like I still have the baby and like its alive. Also how long after the threatened mc, did you lose the baby?

I was sitting at a nail salon I had some tugging and major cramping in my stomach and I started to bleed I knew that was it , I could feel it and I lost all symptoms .. Tiredness and sore boobs were gone at 6 weeks

I should add I bled like a period it was gone and done in 6 days

Yes they told me when they did the confirmation ultrasound to tell me the age of the fetus based on its measurements. I was 10 weeks 2 days when I began to lose the baby, and the baby only measured 6w3d. When they remove it with the D&C they test the tissue too, and told me it was a chromosomal abnormality--most likely we had a bad sperm or a bad egg and that's why the baby didn't make it

I had a missed miscarriage so know I did not know until my next appt. baby passed away at 6-8 weeks and I didn't find out until 13 weeks.

A threatened miscarriage doesn't always end in an actual miscarriage ... I had a threatened miscarriage with this current pregnancy around 7 weeks.. Had unexplained bleeding and passed a large clot but everything turned out fine.. Baby's heartbeat was detectable and the bleeding stopped within 24hrs.. I was put on bedrest for a week and had a f/u with my OB ... I will be 36 weeks tomorrow ... I had a miscarriage in 2009 .. Had brown spotting when I woke up ... No cramping or heavy bleeding .. Went and had an ultrasound and was told there was no heartbeat ... My body never completed the miscarriage and I had to have a D&C.. I could tell the baby was gone because I didn't feel pregnant anymore (fatigue/nausea/etc) ...

@babymillersmomm thank you. i stopped bleeding almost as soon as i noticed the blood. when i went to the er, the heartbeat was detectable.

@babymillersmomm the better news is that it a subchorionic bleed and not a threatened miscarriage!
