a month ago today I gave birth to my cub my zoe baby my bebe lajan my princess my leyla bug....(the nicknames she has gathered) ms. Leyla Ramsey Laforest Lyons. my daughter was born at 1153 a.m. and changed my life from that day on. on the 16th of may I went to the hospital in the middle of the night because I was having contractions but was sent home as I was only in early labor. on the 17th I went to my doctors appt. and was told to go straight to the hospital because she saw my fluids were low... so I went and the hospital said everything was fine. but my doctor said no she was going to induce me and I stayed and went to my room. thank God my aunt also worked at tgat hospital because she brought my bag for me when she came to work.... I got induced at 6 and was receiving anti biotics every 2hours for my positive gb strep I refused epidural until midnight when I finally gave in....my aunt and boyfriend were with me....at 8 am on theb18 i was still not dilated enough and my aunt decided to go home and shower and get ready for work...she left 1030 15 min later my doctor came in checked me and said it's time to push....I pushed at 11 am and 53 minutes of pushing and breathing later my cub was here....I cried so hard in pure amazement of her... 6 lbs 9 Oz and 19 inches long....one month later my baby is 8 lbs 14 Oz and 20 and half inches long....she is spoiled by all who meet her..she tries to hold up her head and she loves kisses from her mommy and daddy...my cub is truly perfection...happy 1 month my princess!!!!
