Does anyone know what the test is called where they go in like they would for a Pap smear and can tell me if I'm going to go into labor in the next two weeks? They did it to me and said I won't be but I'd like to know whatnot is called and read about it a little more

there is a test they do in labor and delivery where they do swab you, however I don't recall what it's called, they did it on me during my first pregnancy.... it isn't just a pelvic exam either I had those during my second pregnancy and they are 2 totally different things
